Day 1 - 29th Apr (Salzburg)

Wah!!!!!!!! until so long at last we're going salzburg already.... hehe ^_^. Since the last trip to Italy, I really learnt not to carry heavy stuff le, otherwise is really dead meat!!! Anyway there were a total of 7 of us. So many right?! We splitted up to buy tix and go find which platform to take train becoz it was in the morning so we had to rush a bit. Anyway once we board the train we just sat down to sleep. haha... so tiring, oh well then playing polka cards was our main entertainment thoughout the whole 3 days here in Austria. The train ride was 2 hrs. When we reached salzburg, it was drizzling. Bad weather and was cold too, Irritating. We hurried to go to tourist info to get a local map so as to go find our hostel so as to put down our barang barang. While doing that, I was suddenly shocked by the fact that some media came forward and asked me in german (becoz german is main language in Austria) will I like to win 10000 dollars? I was damn shocked loh. OMG!!! Siao man. I was in state of shock that my fren had to ans for me. Hahaha!!!!

Then we faster headed to our hostel and put down our stuff. It was lunch time le. We were hungry and cold and we walked to the city centre which was ard 15 min walk from our hostel. Luckily we did some lunch boxes, so at least can curb our hunger. It was raining heavier. That's really bad. We walked ard the city centre to the famous Residenz place and the Castle too which we climbed all the way up. We did have tea in the middle of the way becoz apple strudle is famous in Austria. It was great!!! Lecker!!! (delicious). It was so cosy in the cafe that we were to lazy to move into the rain, Haha!!! Anyway by the time we went down the castle, it was 5+ already loh. Since we were in Salzburg then definelty must listen to a concert of coz!!! So we just grab some sandwich and pizzas and went to the concert hall and surprisingly there was a concert that night. So we just bought the tiz and went in. The info booklet cost 4.50 euro neh... Expensive hor!!! anyway need that to noe more abt wat was on that day mah. It was more of string instruments one. Quite nice but still prefer wind instruments. Druing the last piece, then there was obeo. I was damn happy after that haha!!! Love it!! Worth the price of 8 euro to watch the concert.

By then it was 10+ liao so we walked back to the hostel and stayed at the pub there to discuss day 2 plan, while playing cards again haha. Since there 7 of us, so we booked the 8 ppl dorm then there was another stranger in our dorm, whom slept so early that we couldn't on the lights and have to do everything in the midst of darkness, haha!!! Anyway we still had to sleep early becoz the next day we are leaving at 7.30 to take bus then train to Hallstatt, where Spring Waltz (korean drama) was filmed.
