Day 8 - 18th Apr (going back to Munich)

Along the way back to Munich, the night train was torturing!!! Why? Becoz of a stupid, idiotic passenger (Italien man). This annoying man quite big size squeeze was sitting in our cabin already. So the 4 of us sat down after him. Xiaoyan was sitting facing him, he helped her to put up her lugguage. That was nice. Then came a german gal who sat next to him. Then he started toking to us, asking where we came from, sth lai that. Becoz he spoke in Italien, we din understand much. HAhaha!!! At last he stopped. Then as the minutes went ticking, he started to open the window saying stuffy or wat. Then nevermind, let him opened. But it was very noisy becoz of the railways, so alvin aruged a bit to close the window. Then he forced us to open the door, which wasn't any better. Becoz ppl were toking along the corridor. Maybe that man was speaking so loud abt us insisting to close the window, the ppl outside stopped toking le. Thanks goodness!!! Then managed to sleep for a while, but xiaoyan start complaining that she couldn't put her leg. Yes, it was. The man kept on trying to step over xiaoyan's foot/leg. It was really annoying. Then at a stop, there boarded some Americans that spoke super loud. Best loh, our door opened, then no need to sleep again. We started to grumble, then that man kept on sighing so hard. Wat's his prob?!!?!?!? We were the one should be angry loh?!?!! Argh... Then the german gal was sleeping practically to the other side of the man towards weijie. HAhahaha!! Then alvin started to argue with him to close the door, but the man insisted not to. OMG!!! Can see alvin getting angry liao. We had to cool down alvin a bit. Just have to endure. At las he left. OH!!!! Heaven heard my prayers man!!! haha... Then at last when we reached Munich, we were damn happy. Home sweet Home!!!

Day 7 - 17th Apr (Venice to Munich)

Today got to wake up a bit later again becoz need to walk ard Venice till 9+ at night so that we could take a night train back to Munich. Of coz the most impt thing was to settle our barang barang 1st. So we took a bus to Venice Mestre train station. Then took quite a while to find the place to leave our stuff. Quite $$$$ neh, for 1st 5 hrs is abt 3.20 euro I think. Hmmm... anyway wanted to use the lockers but seemed not to be very user-friendly. We din put our stuff there becoz in order to save more time for lockers, we decided to put our stuff at Venice St Lucia train station, which is on Venice island itself. By the time we reached there it was near 11.30am liao. So to put our stuff till 8.30pm over there. Wat a relief man, to leave our things down. haha....

Then we started walking again to San Marco 1st through the alleys to check if we still needed to buy more souveniours. Till we were quite tired, we decided to go to Lido island, which was the furthest island of all. Venice has many many small island then San Marco, of cos is the famous. We wanted to go to Lido becoz there got beach mah hehe ^_^. The ride there by water bus was quite long then we were siting at the end of the boat. The wind and the sun really blow me to sleep liao. When we reached Lido, it really looked like a small town and the buildings had super nice architecture. On walking, there came a gal asking me in English where can she find hotel. She was in a midst of about 8 ppl. Of coz, I said not sure maybe can go to the ticket booth for water bus there to take brochure so as to look wat hotels are avaliable. The best thing was she asked me where we were staying then I said we staying at the main island near Venice Mestre train station, then she gave me a blur look, aiyo, "just go to the the tix office there to ask lah. I just came to Lido island here roughly the same time as you loh" diaoz. Haha.

Anyway, we were seriously craving for ice-cream!!! Becoz Italy ice-cream is damn delicious then we saw an ice-cream shop. Definetly much cheaper then buying at San Marco there. OMG!!! It tasted damn nice loh!!! WOooooo, I missed it!!! We continue to walk straight towards the beach. When we reached the beach, it was relatively bare, some groups of ppl playing frisbee and volleyball nia... But plenty of seashells, so started picking some too hehe. Then we walked to a structure that I had much difficult to climb on it. Hehe!!! That one stretched into the waters. All 3 of them went up liao, then I tried with one leg up 1st. Pain ah!!! WWOowoooo.... Then took a break by hanging there haha... Becoz it was quite high then I changed position and pushed my butt up 1st. YEahhh!! At last I went up then we just sat there and sat in the midst of the sea wind. Damn shiok neh!!!. Till about 4+ then we started to move out of the beach. By then I was damn thirsty, becoz actually I wanted to drink already long ago, but the drinks were too $$, luckily we saw supermarket. Then I bough 1.5 litre of Fantar icy. Very nice!!! With the icy lemon taste. But a bit too gasy, so I kept shaking to release the carbon dioxide hehe... Looking at the cashiers carefully, they looked all so funky loh, they wore their supermarket jacket over their clothes, which looked like after that they going party sia... haha...

We still have time to go see sunset then we decided to go the park which the next stop after Lido. From that stop we could walk back to San Marco. The park really was damn nice. Ppl laying on the grass, others jogging, kids playing at the playground, dogs barking at each other haha... So relaxing. We sat down on the grass too and appreciate the sun shining at us. To take a break from so much of walking today. We took quite a lot of candid photos here too haha... Till 6+ we started walking back to San Marco which took us about half an hr. Along the way, alvin kept taking photos with liwei's camera haha... Becoz we all got no memory liao. By then we made our way back to the train station so that we dun exceed 8.30pm or else have to pay another hr that was 6 euro. Expensive neh!!! By the time we reached Roma station we only got 10 min to walk to the train station. Thar was quite impossible so xiaoyan and weijie ran ahead of us 1st. haha... my bag still a bit heavy, too lazy to run. Becoz only can put 1s lugguage per person. Best right??!!?!? Haiz anyway we still made it. Lucky!!! Then we made our way back to Venic Mestre station.

When we reached there, the 1st thing was go to the toliet becoz endure one whole day liao.. OMG!!! wait I got bladder stones. By then I was quite broke only left with 2+ euro. Then we sat at macdonals. Really want to eat someting so bought a large fries at 2.10 euro which we shared amg 3 ppl. Then I was still hungry becoz the whole never ate a proper meal so use up my coins to buy a chesse burger at 1.30 euro. OMG!! delicious, or maybe I too hungry liao haha. Then was near 11, got chase out by the mac's stuff so we had to sit at the platform there, which was quite cold. Then starting crapping at the platform to wait for the train to come. Before our train, there was another train which suppose to leave at 11pm but till 11.30pm, it hadn't leave yet. Best!! immer verspätung (always late) Eventually that train left and ours came, our train was 11.45pm. Haha going back home loh!!!

Day 6 - 16th Apr (Venice)

Wah woke up near 7 and buzy rushing to Venice - San Marco to meet the rest. OMG!! In the morning was cold, espacially the cold wind in the water bus. Oh man... When we reached there, we were near one hr late haha becoz we took the long way since water bus number 4 only operates from 4 to 8pm. Also, we went to buy stamps, which was damn big loh!!! Somemore need 2. Ridculous!!! Argh.... Can't fit the postcard too. Irritated. Oh well just have to try my best to squeeze loh!! When we met up with the rest, we began to start walking around the shops. Becoz that was shopping day hehe ^_^. We walked for quite some time and some of them bought some masks too including myself haha!!! Drank too much water, then want to go toliet but dun have. If there was toliet, it would cost 1 euro. Then we found a cafe and went in. The scary part was the rest of us were siting outside, then we one by one went into the cafe to use the toliet. Then the shop person came out and said,"This is not public toliet, pay 1 euro". Oh wat the hell!!! Somemore some of my frenz bought coffee from there liao loh. Wat he wants. Then most of them bought except me, becoz I really dun like coffee!! Buhuhu....

Then hungry... buy pizza!! YUMMMY... We bought from another shop, which had super thick crust where we sat along the river and started eating, while looking at the gondolas~~~. Tempting neh, I want to sit. Wooooo.... Eventually we did sat on the gondola. Oh come to this, I really want to complain. Becoz there was 8 of us, we had to split into 2, since per gondola max ppl = 6. So nevermind, then the person rowing one for us, super unfriendly. Oh so hate him. He din said much abt the history whereas my other frenz's one did. Then he dun smile one. Irritating!! So feel like boxing him. We onli sat for 10 min for 15 euro. Koaz. $$$$ sia.... But at least got the chance to sit. By then the sun was scorching. Great weather!!! hehe...

Then we splitted becoz uncle liwie, xiaoyan jiejie and mr kenneth want to go drink wine and sit sit, which didn't appeal to the rest of us. Then we went round the islands, took the water bus here and there. Then went to a island and so kids playing hopscotch. Different from ours' one, haha miss my childhood days. Then it was near time to meet with the rest. We boarded the water bus at sat right in front where the wind was damn strong.... Then we listened to uncle khim nyang's mp3. Damn shiok sia. But was a bit cold becoz of the cold haha.... As usual, we were late again. Then we started roaming around to find a place to settle our dinner. Then we went to a restaurant which serve pasta at 9 euro, but din noe the whole shop was mended by chinese ladies... Diaozzz... The food also not veri nice loh... Hmmm, spolit the atmosphere a bit. Anyway by then was near 8 and we went back to the hostel le since the previous night we slept quite late. We need more rest for more wanderungen (walking) for tml oh!!!

Day 5 - 15th Apr (Milan to Venice)

The best sleep I ever had over the span of the pass few days man!!! Becoz got to wake up late haha! since the train leaves at 11am. That morning was a bit crapy hehe. Why?!?!?! Becoz hor I suppose to wake up weijie 小姐 at 7 so that she could go to the Duomo, but hor she seemed not to feel it haha, then when I woke up at 8.30am, then I faster woke her up. She supposed to meet wei yao at 8. So imagine, hmmm... haha. Anyway when xiaoyan and I were finishing breakfast, weijie came back. She din meet weiyao, becoz she din see anyone. Then got problem liao, we suppose to meet him to go to Venice together but he was with the guys, somemore his german line no money liao haiz... So we assumed he was clever enough to go to the train station to meet us, luckily he was!! Heng ah!! And here we go to Venice!!!

We slept all the way to Venice. Dunno y so tired also. It was a 3hrs ride. By the time we reached there, alvin was waiting for us le. So happy!!! Got to see him again, despite we gals had been treating him transparent when we were at La Spezia haha!!! The very first thing he told us was that the hostel that we booked was very far from the train station. OMG!! Diaoz man... So how?!!?!?! Then we went to ask the reservation of hostels and hotels at the train station there. The lady inside veri de funny leh. After attending one customer she'll pick up her phone to tok. Ignoring us who were queuing. We waited like near half an hr that she knew our existence. Haha!!! Eventually we got a better hostel nearer to the main station and more accessible. To get to the hostel was rather ma fan. The road names veri de good leh. Dun understand one. Super blur!!! So how, we spent quite a long time then managed to get to the hostel and put our barang barang down. Lucky!

We took a bus to the station where we can take water buses. That station was Roma. Then we took water bus number 4 to San Marco, which was the main attraction of Venice. It was near 4+ liao. Damn many ppl oh!! Then it was not that many construction le. Nicer!!! Then we went round the alleys without a map. That's the fun part without any map. We went round, saw many masks and glass items. Damn nice sia!!! But Venice things are the most expensive among the 3 citites I went to man. OMG!!! anyway we got hungry then went to buy take away pizza!!! Delicious ah!!! Really, no kdding. This is Italy. Everyday ask me eat pizza I dun mind haha. Then we managed to walk out to the square where all the pigeons were. Real fat man. And so many bird shit on the floor. haha!!! Then we got to listen to a concert at the church there. But cost 17 euro. Worth it!!! It's strings one and they played four seasons. Real good. And they played until so engrossed. Came there my ears were really cleaned with good music liao haha. After that it was 10+ liao loh. Then we sent Weiyao back to his hostel and back to ours. It was near 1+ liao. Ultimate!! Tired but fun!!

Day 4 - 14th Apr (Milan)

First thing in the morning was to go to central station to get train tix to venice then we went to visit the Duomo!! The Duomo looked better than 5 yrs ago. Maybe they renovated and recoloured that made it so. There was onli me, xiaoyan, weijie, weiyao and khim nyang. Then we met up with liwei and kenneth and they say can buy tix to watch inter vs milan that evening?!??!?! Startled man!!! We went to the bank to buy tix, which required our passport too. Fascinating neh... At the bank + passport to buy tix. Anyway it costs 39 euro neh. A bit ex but it's worth it. Till 6pm (start of the match), we gals went shopping haha!!! If you go to Milan, of coz must go shopping mah. I acutally bought one whole set of new clothes haha. I bought skirt which I eventually wore to the concert, it was 10+ degress but sunny. The clothes are super nice loh, but still a bit $$$, so must restrict hehe. For the sake of the future trips, cannot anyhow spend $$ oh! We ate the famous Venezia Ice cream too!! Best Ice cream in the world man!! I feel like eating one now haha^_^

It was near 4pm liao, we had to rush to the subway to take train to the stadium. There was a queue in front of the tix machine, which we had lotz of ?? abt it. Then managed to ask one of the locals there and got the idea that the tix cost obli 1 euro. Koaz the cheapest transport fee, I came across throughout the whole trip. Anyway, we reached the "Lotto" station at 4.30pm (15min earlier than the actual meeting time with the guys) Then we had a problem we forgotten was to meet at the station or at the stadium. To wat I recall since they mentioned how to go from the station to the stadium, I presumed that we were suppose to meet at the stadium, but......... that's wrong. So eventually we waited for the guys till near 5.45pm at the stadium. It was damn crowded with near 50 gates with 4 major colours - yellow, red, green, blue. We got the green seats which was behind one of the goal post. Which was quite a good view too becoz we saw the goal from there. AC milan fans were really united and fanatic man!! Despite the area we were siting was for inter milan fans, however, there were many AC milan fans too. I was so happy to see the players in real life man. the football field looked smaller than wat I saw from TV. In general, inter milan played better, but milan managed to score and score at the goal post right in front of us. At that point of the goal, all the milan fans were standing up cheering away, including me of coz. During the siting, we came across this stupid disgusting guy who refused to admit that he sat wrongly. He kept on standing up and "dived" his hand into his jeans to scratch. Ekkk!!! Disgusting, luckily after second half he went to sit somewhere else.

The match was really fantastic and I bought a souviner for my bro too (milan fan) hehe... Then we headed back to the central station area to settle for our dinner. It was 9+ already. So, not many choices. Then we went into this restaurant which had so many service charge. Per person 2 euro then the bread also need $$. Koaz... So $$ minded one. Diaoz.. And the serving was quite little too ah watever... Acutually wanted to go club sit sit, but everyone seemed tired liao and next morning need to take train to Venice too, so till that night was the last night view of milan I saw. I'll miss you...

Day 3 - 13rd Apr (La Spezia to Milan)

We woke up early to have a very full breakfast and start off to find the post to send the postcards. The funny thing was that when we reached the post office there was 2 doors. First door enter to go into an area which opened to another door to the innerside of the post office. At the area can onli fit 3 ppl. Best man... Haahaa!! find it fascinating neh.... Anyway then we moved on to the central area, looks like Freiburg (in Germany) a bit. Then came to realise that there were so many little kids and old ppl. Wah!!! This plz good for raising kids plus retirement haha!!! ^_^ Then we walked till the port i think. Very nice!!! so relaxing sia... Love it!!!


Then we board train to Milan. The train was the best one I ever sat. At least clean enough haha... When we reached Milan central station, everything seemed so familiar. Oh it was 5 years ago when I came with my JC band. The feeling was good. It was near evening liao so we had to hurry. Weijie, xiaoyan and I went straight to downtown, which we walked there for 30 min. We went pass the branded street, where of coz u will see prada, von dutch, armani, gucci etc. So many lah, which was not for us to go in haha. Then we walked to the central are where the Duomo was. There, we saw wei yao!! Damn lucky. He was waiting for khim nyang, liwei, kenneth to come. Haha lucky man. He brought us to the street where all the pubs and cafes were. Great!! By then was pretty late then went to central station to meet up with the rest. Oh well, a bit of conflict. It was then nicknames of 少爷 and 公子哥 arise (to noe more info plz ask the 3 of us personally haha!!!) Anyway it was a tiring day but the next day shall be better!! Becoz of sth...

Day 2 - 12nd Apr (La Spezia)

When we reached there, there were quite a lot of tourists already. And many are Americans. Oh so hate it!!! They like their accent so much that they had to speak so damn loud. IRRITATING!!! Espacilly during lunch, my 3 frenz and I were sitting facing the beach, eating our very de big sandwich and there was a group of Americans, who were toking all the way. So damn loud... Super annoyed... Argh.... Spolit the atmosphere. Anyway ignore them. Wat so special abt La Spezia is their 5 Villages, which i'm bad at recalling. The most happening one should be Vanezza, which we took a route to the hills up from another village to Vanezza. It was about 2 hrs that we walked. Good excersise man!!! The wind was very cold so I was still wearing 3 layers. But as we climbed up the hills and then down again, we got so hot that I was onli wearing my T-shirt. Damn shiok!!! Long time never do hiking lai that but after that leg veri de tired ah. The sceneries from the hills was spectecular. Of coz got take photos, but to see for urself is even better. Becoz the route we were toking was veri narrow, it was quite dangerous too. But for the beautiful landscape, it's worth it.

Day 1 - 11st Apr (Munich to Italy)

Alrighty.... Preparing to go and board the night train to Italy, La Spezia, which requires about 11 hours. OMG!!! ultimate man!!! Somemore we booked the cheapest one that was to sit all the way. However, life wasn't that simple at all you know. We got to change 2 times and Bologna and Parma, hence, all in all didn't sleep much. Espacially Munich was very cold then, so we wanted to go to Italy to 避寒 (avoid the cold). Maybe becoz it is in the middle of the night during the changing of trains, the waether was damn cold. Freezing. Oh hoping that the weather at La Spezia would be wonderful. And luckily, it was!!! It was sunny despite the cold wind and the grey coast of La Spezia really tempted us to laze around the beach...

6.30am Munich Germany

One and a half hours I'll be leaving for Italy!!!! OMG!!! I cannot believe that I'm actually going haha... Now still eating my Spargel Suppe then later must get ready to go liao. Gonna take the "Nachtzug" (night train) to La Spezia, which is below of Bologna that is near the west coast of Italy between Florence and Rome. There got 5 villages to visit, all super sceneric (I hoped?!?!?!?!?) hehe... Then later going to Milan and the Venice for Easter!!! Hope the atmosphere there is nice tooo. And pray hard not to come in contact with any pickpockets!! Pray for me ah!! hehe... Then reach on next monday in time for matriculation haha.

So fast past near 2 weeks here in Munich. Really getting used to it, only left 3 mths ++ to go. Oh must really enjoy myself. And to my frenz in Singapore, work hard for your exams oh ^_^

Till next Monday, tschüs!!! Und Italien, (bye, and Italy) here I come!!!

6.10pm Munich Germany
Raining or snowing?

From the skii trip which was on saturday was damn fun.... However the stupid "thing" that u have to wear is so difficult to walk with. It was like the entire lower leg is connected without joints, so walking with that was pretty bad. The skiis also damn heavy nearly want to die carrying them. When we actually reached there it was 2+ then by 4.30pm we have to leave, so time was precious then. The first instant on skiing was amazing, was that once u are on skiis u moved liao. OMG!!! no control man... I dunno fall down how many times. Then there is a rope that will pull u up to slightly higher grounds so as to skii downwards... I think the rope really hate me. Everytime I grabbed it and moved, I would somehow got stuck and could not move blocking the entire way for the rest to go up. AHHHHHH!!!! damn irritating.... Too bad still can't stop that will yet. In order to stop have to eventually skii sideways then back turn to stop. Besy man!! I still cannot, sian.... The sun was scorching that day... So initally i was wearing 3 layers with scarf then it was getting hot becoz skiing really tiring neh. Then I start to remove my scarf and the outer layer. Damn warm eventually!! I was so tired that I just sit beside on the ice and started throwing snowballs at my other frenz haha... my jeans was all wet! I don't even care! I really want to go skii again! Next one will be to Austria to skii man.... Or end of the year to Korea!! Then maybe next time I shall try snowboarding. Right?!!!?!!?! as if I will, haha...

7.29am Munich Germany
Scorching Sun rising up but still cold
about 5 degress Celsius or lower?

Today I'm going "Skii fahren" (skiing), I'm so the excited hehe ^_^. Actually a bit scared too becoz hor once u are in ur skis, u'll start moving liao... Slippery neh. The mountain we going is the highest in Germany, OMG!!! Garmisch-Partenkirchen is the Name. Later have to fry some popiah as lunch box too... Hehe, I made myself one hor... See see the pic is the master piece. Looks nice right? drooling? hehe.

On Wednesday evening it was snowing. Why I now then mention? Becoz now we in the theme of snow mah.... Haha!!!! It was after leaving Marktkauf (supermarket) that my friends and I saw falling crashed ice... Though I din see falling snowflakes, but this kind of "snowing" is incredible too.... The whole view from my hostel was so nice!!! A bit blur blur one... Really feel like taking my bowl out to collect them to make ice kachang!!! Wahaha!! Also, I played in the snow too eventhough the amount of snow accumulated wasn't that much. See the pic, those are my footprints in the snow. hehe... I did make snowman too but is mini version... Haha... Anyway at least I still able to see snow in April too!!! I love it!!!

This is the first post i'm putting down. Anyway too bored lah frankly speaking. Waiting to go to the International Student party at 8pm at OlympiaPlatz. Actually kind of lazy, but this is a good chance to go see what is a "German Party" really like. Hope so not too smoky with all those stupid cigarattess. But bound to have lah then come back hostel must bath so long again to remove all the smoke smell.

Today's german class was better than yesterday. Maybe too many ppl complained that the teacher spoke to fast during the 1st lesson yesterday. Now then I can understand 80% of the time better than yesterday's 50%. Anyway better students went to the other group liao, in order words, the group i'm in is the weaklings..... haha..... I cannot believe it, most of the international students here already learn german for like 7 or 8 years or at least 3 years. Their german is so de good already, why they still want to attend this german course? Really spolit market. But in general they are nice ppl lah. Not many "shuai ges". Sad case haha!!! Anyway on the 2nd lesson got Hausaufgabe (hw) liao. Koaz.... Sian man.... there goes my weekend.... but I shall look forward to my skiing trip tml to the highest mountain in Germany, which is 1.5 hrs from Munich... hehe... hope that still got snow oh!!!
